Hi! My name is Madeline, licensed occupational therapist and founder of Building Blocks Pediatric Occupational Therapy.

I love OT because it is child-focused, family-driven, and rooted in evidence-based practices that help increase a child's independence, participation, and engagement in daily life.

I earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I've worked with children from 4 months to 16 years old across a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and outpatient clinics.

My areas of focus include sensory processing, emotional regulation, feeding, fine and gross motor skills, self-care skills, and general childhood development.

I love community-based therapy because it happens in real-life settings—at home, at school, in the community. Therapy in these familiar spaces leads to more lasting, functional progress.
